Will Lee is an American bassist, vocalist, and songwriter renowned for his extensive session work across genres including jazz, pop, rock, and R&B, as well as his record-breaking tenure (1982-2015) with Paul Shaffer on Late Night with David Letterman as part of The World's Most Dangerous Band (NBC) and then also on The Late Show with David Letterman as part of the CBS Orchestra.
Over his career spanning more than five decades, Lee has contributed to over 2,000 recordings, performed with icons such as Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, and Ringo Starr, and earned a Grammy Award for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album for Some Skunk Funk in 2007.
